Who am I? That is a wonderful question, I am a girl who like to eat pizza and go skating, but I don’t like seafood and I hate hiking with a passion. I want to go to college and then own my own successful chain of restaurants, and I want to be living on the outskirts of beatrice with my husband and our two children. That is part of who I am, I do like to do more than just eat pizza and skate though. I have, for as long as I can remember, had a love for pizza. It is one of my favorite food, I love when the pizza is at just the right temperature and you can pull your slice out and the cheese just stretches and stretches. Pizza was one of the first foods I learned to make, my grandma and I used to make pizza and then sit and watch movies …show more content…
My favorite pizza is a pizza with loads of cheese and hamburger, I want my pizza covered in cheese even though it is not the healthiest option. With it not being even close to health I would go to the skating rink and try to burn off some of the fat. I have like to go skating since I was about five years old, my dad and I used to go and that would be our daddy- daughter time. We would go every friday night, and we would spend time together and laugh. As I got older I started going more by myself, I meet a lot of my friends there, the kind of friends that stay with you forever. I also grew close with the owners of the rink, Bonnie and Chris, they became like second family to me. Although I love the loud and noisy skating rink, I enjoy reading in a quiet space as well. Somewhere I can be by myself with a good book that I can get lost in. …show more content…
I plan on starting college, if I get accepted, in January of 2018. I want to start at Southeast Community College in Beatrice and get my prerequisites done. After I finish those I want to move on to a larger college and start in the culinary program. I have always wanted to be a chef, I have been cooking and baking since I was around three. My grandma used to have me sit on the counter and help her male lunch, supper, and desserts. She is the reason I want to be a chef. She, at one point in her life, ran her parents cafe and she loved it. She has told me multiple stories about it and I want to be able to make those types of memories as well. After I finish college I want to start working for some company to get the hang of the business. I then want to move on and start my own business, I haven’t decided if I want a full restaurant, a cafe, or if I want to open a bakery. When I decide what I want to open, I will try to start it up and get it going. If the launch goes well and my business does well for a long time I want to expand and open more shops. I want to be able to start my own chain of places. This is what I see for my business side of my future, but not what I see for my life if I was to look ten years into the
I like pizza a lot. Like a whole bunches of goodlieness! There the best! Like ever! Like I can't even eccplaion the awesomeness of pizza to you're stupid wittle bwain!
Is the Pizza from NYC/LI better than the rest of New York State and the rest of the country? According to most people from this region, the answer would be a resounding, Yes!. There are many factors in which LI pizza excels; crust, sauce, cheese, toppings. There are a couple of theories that account for the deliciousness and recognition that LI pizza gets. This pizza has recognition the world over and it the picture that people get when pizza is mentioned, is the New York style pizza. The bottom line is that Long Island and NYC have a superior tasting pizza when compared to the rest of the country.
It's hard for me to say where I'll be in the years to come, already my life has strayed from the path I once thought it would follow. However, that doesn't change my motivation or determination to reach and excel at my personal goals. My whole life I've endured a system that dictated what should be important to me, and while it's helped me learn the practical skills I need outside of an academic setting, I have a passion to grow further from what's expected of me, and so with much enthusiasm I look forward to attending college in which I hope to achieve more by constantly learning and expanding my personal knowledge.
I started out wanting to go into the Air Force and be a pilot when I was younger. I stayed with that plan until I started welding in high school. I found out shortly that I was very good at it and became very successful in a short amount of time. I became passionate about it, spending countless hours in the shop. I have since went off to college and received my welding degree and machining certificate. After my first year of college I decided that I should suffer through another year and get my machining degree. I have known that I love building things and being able to use my head and had to create something. Both my welding and machining can be used to create very complex parts requiring a lot of thinking and this is why I have choose to open a job shop.
My goals after I graduate from college are to work as a registered dental hygienist, have financial income in a professional setting, and to serve the public in a positive way. In addition to that, I have always had an entrepreneurial bend element in my personality, and once I gain full employment and stability, being a dental hygienist is the type of job that would allow me to pursue some of my other hobbies and interests while making a contribution to the community. Additionally, that part-time business could eventually turn into a full-time career. The first step to becoming an entrepreneur is gaining employment, and being a dental hygienist would allow me to network with hundreds of different cross-sections of society and get to the point
The earliest glimpse of my future was at an elementary career day years ago. When I filled out what I was going to dress up as I wrote the word, “farmacist.” My mom was a pharmacist and I looked up to her and wanted to be just like her! So when career day rolled around I dressed in a white coat carrying a big bottle full of M&M’s to dispense to my classmates. Now so many years later here I am actually about to take on graduate school and follow in my mother’s footsteps to become a pharmacist. Of course my career path has been less than a straight line from “farmasist” to pharmacist. My passion and talent for math and science in high school allowed me to seriously consider a career in engineering. However, the more I considered engineering, the more there seemed to be something missing. As much as I loved solving problems I did not see
After I earn a degree in business, I plan to work for a company where I will gain experience until I am ready to start my own business. Even though I haven’t narrowed down what field I want my business to serve, I know I want to pursue ownership when I am ready. Being the boss matters. The difference between me owning my own business and having to work for somebody is that I will be more committed and even with long hours, I know that it will be worth it to build something of my own. Making my own decisions and taking my own risks is different from working for someone like my family does now. It will mean long, hard hours, but I will have something to be proud of instead of just living from paycheck to
The lessons I have learned in my life from both my parents and life experiences have fully prepared me to excel in college. Being a part of honors classes and taking multiple advanced placement classes I believe I am very ready for the workload to come ahead. After college I hope to fulfill not only my dream, but also my parent’s dream, of seeing myself become a successful dentist or doctor so I could accomplish all of my other life goals. I hope to be able to build a life and future for myself in
I’m a student at Tompkins Cortland Community College this is my first semester as a college student. I plan to go to college for four years and only be at TC3 for this one semester, then transfer to a four year school. College has grown around the world more than ever and more people are attending college more than ever. I have chosen to go to college because of the rewards after graduation. Yes it is another four years of school but by getting more education and an extended degree gives me more opportunities for better jobs and more money. The career I have chosen to study is business administration. I am hoping that it takes me to a great job managing a company or possibly being an accountant.
In the world today, it is incredibly difficult to preserve anything without letting outside influences and modernization to take effect. Culture and religion are not exempt from the impact the modern world has. According to the class lecture, the pizza effect is described as a phenomenon where part of a religion or culture is embraced somewhere other than where it originated and then re-established in the original culture or religion. The name of this effect comes from Italian migrants who brought their flat bread, pizza, to America with them, after it was a huge success with Americans their family members back in Italy readapted this new version of pizza with tomatoes, cheese, and other various toppings (Knott, 78). There are several examples of the pizza effect taking place within Indian religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, and Sikhism.
What will I do for the rest of my life? Every person asks this question at some stage of their life, usually during their later teenage years. As a high school junior, I am now asking myself this question. After considerable thought, I have devised a tentative plan for my future. I realize that some of these plans and goals may change over time, but with a plan, the first steps of the journey can begin. To prepare me for the journey, I have taken very challenging high school curriculum, such as Honors and Advanced Placement courses. These classes will not only assist in my admission to college, but have also helped me to develop strong study skills and time management.
As I am preparing for a new chapter in my life, I have put a lot thought in about what I want out of life and what to look forward to as I get older. In order for one to achieve anything, they need to set goals to reach for. I have a handful of goals for my future, short term and long term, that I will actively work towards in my college years and beyond. In my time at UW Eau Claire, I plan to be involved and engaged in student activities on campus. Being active will help me meet new people, build a better resume, and have fun at college. At UWEC, I would like to get involved in anything musical, along with various clubs and Greek life. Similarly, another goal of mine is to have a job on campus. Having a job will not only help me make some
The information that I’ve gained from this project is that I think I have what It takes to become a business owner I don’t know what kind of business I want to own yet, maybe a bunch of restaurants because I like to cook and I have a passion for food and to make people happy but I would also like to own a bowling center because I have experience working in the bowling industry for 6 years now and I’m learning more and more everyday I’m at work. The negative is that I need to take more risks I’m more of a go with the flow kind of guy and not much of a risk taker but according to my research high risk equal high reward with profit. My reaction to this is I’m very excited to get through college and learn all there is about business.
Im thinking that its most likely that I will go to a university. If I do, I will go to the University of Phoenix. I’m attending the University of Phoenix for a few reasons but I’m ultimately going to the university to become a detective. I want to be successful and rich so I can have all the good things in life. I want to be able to have a family without financial stress and worries. My entire life my mom has and still is working two or three jobs just to make ends meet. That’s not where I want to be with my future. I want a sense of comfort that no matter what happens I’ll have the money to take care of it. I don’t exactly need a luxurious lifestyle, but I’d like to partake in a life of nicer cars, extravagant home, and cash in the bank. So after all I guess I would like to have a few dollars. It’s often hard to grow up without a substantial amount of money in the family. I’m going to make sure that my husband (who will be working just like me), and kids don’t have to go through all of that. On a more selfish side of the scale, I want to get out of that whole situation as well. I’d like to drive expensive cars and wear the clothes, and most of all, I always want to have money in my pocket. Like everyone else, I just want the good life.
My ideal future would be being able to travel to places where I’ve been as well as to places where I haven’t been. I’d imagine myself being happy because I’d have everything I’ve ever wanted. Getting married, buying a house- even if it were a small house with only a few bedrooms in a quiet neighbourhood. After buying a house(,) I’d have a child so that I could spoil them the way my parents spoiled me. In my ideal future(,) I would work at home so that I could be able to spend time with my family I would be my own boss. On my spare time that I would have I would start a an animal shelter one in a foreign country I would help stray animals have a home, people who can not afford to have pets could come play with dogs and cats as well as adopt them. I’d also keep myself entertained by being activite and having my own gymnastics gym.
