In every fictional writing a lesson is learned by either one or many characters and even being negative or positive lessons. Reading fiction is not a waste of time, because it increases use of vocabulary and expands creativity and the imagination.
When reading a fictional writing, the writer’s uses a substantial amount of diction. Diction is a writer’s choice of words, possibly meaning their voice in writing. Reading fiction often expands the vocabulary, such as if someone’s attention is caught into the book, the tendency is to get caught in the writer’s diction and remember it at certain times in life.
