His mental instability leads him to think Paris is in the way obtaining true happiness, thus he slays him. Romeo acquires poison, stands beside Juliet, and states, “Here’s to my love! (Drinks.) While going through struggles and difficulties, Romeo and Juliet are constantly trying to associate with their identity. The gender, age, or family affiliation of the characters in Romeo and Juliet heavily provides and devotes to the actions of this play.
However, due to his intrusion of the Capulet party in act one, scene five, it is Tybalt’s rage that jeopardizes Romeo’s well-being. This shows the intensity of Romeo’s love for Juliet, and how he cares more about seeing her than his own safety. For example, in act five, scene three, Romeo kills himself because he believes that Juliet is dead. Love made Romeo put himself in dangerous situations, and caused Juliet to go against what her parents wanted. This is important to the story because it is Romeo and Juliet’s love for each other that ends the feud.

All of this suffering and tragedy in Romeo and Juliet can be traced back to Romeo or the grudge between the Montagues and the Capulets. Romeo is the most tragic figure in the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, so he is the leading cause to all suffering to other characters.
In the poem “Juliet’s Soliloquy”, Juliet is alone in her chamber as she holds her vessel of poison. As Juliet expresses her fears in the heart-felt soliloquy, the complete severity of the situation weighs heavy on her mind. She thinks, “What if the potion is unsuccessful or does not work?” She wonders has the Friar deceived her and given her real poison instead of the nonpoisonous, so that no one discovers that he dishonorably wedded her to Romeo in disclosure. As already shown, both Romeo and Juliet are horrified to discover that they were family enemies. Despite of this, they both choose to devote their love for eachother. Given this point, it is unrequited love that brings Romeo and Juliet together. But this also means that they would have to get over the fact that their families hate each other. This eventually leads them to forgiving the rival family for all the hateful acts that have occurred against one another. This is not the only forgiveness that is experienced in this play. Tybalt is a Montague with a fiery attitude. After catching Romeo at a party he was not supposed to be at, Tybalt had it out for Romeo. Just after Romeo and Juliet’s wedding, Tybalt comes looking for him wanting to fight. Romeo does not want to fight because he now loves Tybalt since he is family to him, but neither Tybalt or anyone else knows this reason. Quickly Mercutio steps in and tells Tybalt that he will fight him in honour of Romeo. Sadly this leads to the death of Mercutio. Romeo is angry and in need of revenge, which creates an intense fight between Tybalt and Romeo. Romeo wins this battle, killing Tybalt. He leaves in a hurry, only to discover that he would be banished from Verona. The death of Tybalt is absolutely devastating to Juliet. Her cousin was murdered by her husband. In conclusion, when Juliet is thinking about Romeo she says, "Give me Romeo; and when he shall die / Take him and cut him out in little stars, / And he will make the face of heaven so fine / That all the world will be in love with night," (lll,ii,21-25). To start off, the Nurse tends to explain things in very confusing ways, this makes what she is saying hard to comprehend. When she comes back with the news Juliet asked for she says, “Ah weraday, he’s dead, he’s gone, he’s dead! We are undone, lady, we are undone. Alack the day, he’s gone, he’s killed, he’s dead” (3.2.37-39) Juliet asks the nurse what she has found out and she is saying how someone is dead, Juliet assumes it Romeo of course, so Juliet is now thinking Romeo is dead instead of Tybalt. This instance of miscommunication caused Juliet to become very upset until it she later finds out that Romeo is banished, not dead. Going on, when Juliet’s marriage to Paris was moved up a day, not everyone was informed of it, this causing the letter to not come to Romeo in time for him to save Juliet since she is to be dead when Romeo arrives. Friar John whom was supposed to deliver Friar Lawrence’s letters to Romeo says, “I could not send it- here it is again- nor get a messenger to bring it thee, so fearful were they of infection” (5.3.14-16). Since Friar John was unable to get these letters delivered that Romeo was suspecting, he is now worried, clueless, and uninformed of what is happening. When the friar hears of this, he devises a plan so that the two lovers can be together. The major climax of the play comes when the friar gives Juliet a potion that will make it seem as though she has died, when in fact she is alive the whole time. While in Mantua, Romeo mistakenly hears that Juliet has actually died and he goes to lay by her side. Just as he takes a vile poison and dies, Juliet awakens to find her love lying dead at her side. She cannot fathom living in a world without Romeo, so she takes his sword and ends her own life.
