Martin Luther King delivered his appeal on August 28th, 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C. which was entitled “I Have a Dream” to enormous group of civil rights marchers who demonstrated to press the United States government for equality and to reject racism. Martin Luther King was an African Americans leader of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States and political activist of the claimants to end racial discrimination against blacks.
