Learning is an experience that all individuals are entitled to have access to. Public schools are a community where individuals can come together to interact. They allow individuals with the opportunity to communicate with a variety of people; each with different interests and ideas. Public schools are a part of an individual’s basic right, the first step in an individual’s future, and a responsibility that all students hold.
As individuals who will one day become the future of their own community, the importance of them receiving an education increases. Public schools are places where people are given the chance to learn. The ability to learn, improve, and explore different areas is innate. As children, we learn to speak and walk at a young age. As children mature, they learn more words and processes. These skills that we learn are a part of us and therefore are part of our basic rights. Public schools become the place where individuals are presented with the opportunity to explore new areas to find what they enjoy and learn about those particular areas to a point where they become experts at their field.

In order for students to reach their future, they have the obligation of respecting the classroom environment and completing work assigned to them. Respecting the classroom environment will benefit the individual and his or her peers by providing an area where people can learn peacefully. By respecting the environment the student is providing a place where people can interact amongst others about their interests and future. Completing the assignments given to students allow them to understand the different concepts in various subject areas.
