Instead of going to college, some students should “... develop business ideas instead.”(Doc E). By not attending college, some students will find greater success by pursuing other endeavors besides a college education, and provide the world with a different kind of service that college just cannot teach.
-- Public eduction is one of the most significant and unfinished achievements in American history. The main point of the first video was to show the viewer how far public schools have come and how far they still need to go.
Education has always been in existence in one form or another. As each child is born into this world regardless of who or where they are born, life lessons immediately begin. He/she will learn to crawl, walk, and talk by the example and encouragement of others. Although these lessons are basic in the beginning they evolve as the child grows. However, the core learning method of a child does not change. Learning from others, they will watch, listen, and then act for themselves. Thomas Jefferson believed that an education would lead men and women to the ability to be self-governed and become positive contributors to society (Mondale & Patton, 2001). Today, we can see how true this is by the examples of others. Those that are given the opportunity for education are more likely to find jobs and develop skills that not only improve a community, but influence the economic growth of their nation (Ravitch, Cortese, West, Carmichael, Andere, & Munson, 2009, p. 13). On the other hand, if an education is not provided to individuals, they can become a hindrance to that nation’s growth.
There is a big disparity between urban and suburban secondary education in public schools. Many critics of this inequality are arguing that urban schools are not receiving the same attention as schools that are in suburban areas or wealthier parts of country. Urban schools are facing a large crisis on there hands, these schools are not meeting the required criteria in educating and graduating their students. So, why is there a huge inequality between urban and suburban secondary public schools? Much of the debate falls around school funding and how much schools are given to operate. Many urban schools are not being given enough money to educate its students, pay its teachers, buy new books, and afford technology that could be used in the classroom in order to educate its students. Though funding plays an important role in education another issue that urban schools are facing is prejudice from teacher towards minority and lower income students; students who fit description are often thought of as worthless because either they are receiving low test scores, can not speak English well, create trouble in the classroom or they are simply thought of as futile. While minorities fall under prejudice, illegal immigrant students are being attacked because they are attending public schools at the expense of tax payers. Illegal immigrants are being blamed for much of reasons that schools are finding themselves in the red when it comes to school funding; simply illegal immigrants are breaking the piggy bank and leaving schools in the hole as the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) puts it. In retrospect what ultimately is happening is that students in urban secondary public schools whom...
Public schools are available to everyone and have been around for a very long time. Unfortunately, throughout the years we have seen how ineffective they are and many of the problems students face while attending these schools. Some of the problems with public schools include graduation rates, absences, social class differences and many more. In When Millennials Rule: The Reshaping of America, David Cahn and Jack Cahn write to people working in the government about many of the issues millennials face and what our thought on them are. In chapter nine, “Better Schools: Investing in Our Future,” they focus on education where they mention public schools and give reasons as to why they need to be removed. Although not all public schools
In the current era that America is in Education plays a vital role not only in childhood but all the way into adulthood. The way society has been morphed education is commonly thought to be the only way to be successful in life, according to some studies the current economic state of the united states has caused more students to believe getting a higher education is vital to their success and is the only way to live comfortable lives. For example, having a better career could make it possible to have a better retirement and old age security. Furthermore, continuing education after high school would develop a better understanding of people, provide a great opportunity to meet a wide variety of people, and build a network of friends and contacts. Moreover, Higher education is not only important for career development; it clearly plays a role in personal development as well. Post-secondary education would be an assist in bringing us close to our family, friends, and society, and would make our lives vivid.
Education is undoubtedly one of the most important parts of any human society. Without it human beings could not have been at the current point of time where we all know tremendously about life and the universe. We are now better off than we were. However, it is clear that there is still huge variety of phenomena waiting for our discovery. The most important objective of education is to help human beings pursue their burning desires to learn and reach their potential. In that way we progress. Therefore, it is vital to help or at least not hinder education to fulfill its goals.
The Founding Fathers intended for the states to be self-governing and therefore, left public education in the hands of the state and local governments” (Kraft & Furlong, p. 343). The problem is that the U.S. Federal Constitution does not include a clause that guarantees a right to education. Neither does it empower Congress to legislate or regulate educational matters.
Everyone know that education is very important because it give people an opportunities to change their life and open new door that can never existed without education. It is the only thing that no one can steal from you because it is a forever lasting knowledge. With a good education, you can give your parent and family a better life and something they can be proud of. I once heard that knowledge is power, with knowledge you are respected by you peer and by many others from societies. If everyone in the world had a good education, we would have less world problems, less word hunger, and technologies will be way beyond its time. In realities, education can change everything.

... that drives the rest of the sectors of the society towards the development and sustainable development. the first man who travelled to the moon's surface was a result of education.Nationsdidn’tprogress only as far as the success of their children in the possession of knowledge and new technologies. This will help them meet the challenges and overcome the obstacles in their path of development. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan , may God have mercy on him,was aware of this fact when he resembled education as alight that brightens the road in the dark.
Public school education system is important and should be taken very seriously. It is the starting foundation to each and every one of our lives. Our educators, lay down the pathway for education.. In today’s world, teachers play a big role in building America. They are the ones who encourage our children to excel into their greatest self. Without teachers, society would face a drastic downfall. There would not be many professions around. Doctors would be unable to save the lives of our friends and families. There would not be any police officers to protect and serve, nor there be a president to lead this country. The public school education system, as a whole, is something that has been over looked for some time. While other professions are progressing in life, the Public Education System, in general, is staying the same. Teaching is not an easy job. The hours are long, the demands are high, and the working conditions are often challenging .Given the conditions, in which, this profession is carried out, a better financial plan is needed to accommodate for the, unbalanced, priority.
Public education has been able to provide the necessary education to students, despite its limited capabilities. Students are offered the same education in public schools as they are in private schools. Students make their choice on whether or not they want to apply themselves, and learn from the teachers in front of them. In private schools students are excited to learn. Maybe that is why they have better test scores. Students enrolled in public schools have a tendency to fail, or some succeed. These options are taken by students who who either try, or do not care. Either way, every student has an equal opportunity to gain an education.
The first thing that strikes me about education is knowledge gain. Education gives us a knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It helps us build opinions and have points of view on things in life. My education has always been unique due to my childhood experiences. Education in all different forms is key to breaking the cycle of poverty as I have experienced. It has an uplifting effect on other aspects of society that may seem totally unrelated. The relationship between poverty and education is complex, but I know that education helps people make healthier and smarter decisions about their children, their livelihoods and the way they live. Education has changed
