This semester I have put lots of thought and hard work into trying to write the best papers to my ability, I used many sources; such as, going to the library, looking in newspapers, asking question about the topic and advice from my professor, all these resources have made me a better well round writer.
Going to the library and looking up the topic I needed to write about was fairly easy, but sometimes it leads me nowhere until I really learned how to use all the information the library had to offer. I would sit for hours sometimes just reading about my chosen topic. I found the library to be a good place to just read without interruption, which made it so much less stressful, but when I would hit a dead end I would refer to other resources. …show more content…

There are colleges in Texas that has been doing this since the year 2000, I was amazed. The newspaper helped me get started on my proposal for my prom dress giveaway. I sad that I never got to turn it in and get it published I was very proud of this essay, but I learned that I can succeed from my failure. I thought the newspaper was a great way to get information for a real life need, on another essay used other resources apart from the newspaper.
I ask questions from my professor taking any advice that she gave me and try to put it into my writing; for example, she helps me look up resources for my homeless proposal essay and my prom dress giveaway. I would have to say that going to my professor was the biggest help when writing essays because I receive better information from her than all the other sources, I have used. She made me a better writer in many
