Private Better than Public School
There are many decisions for parents to choose private or public school for their kids. Every parent wants what is best for his or her child. A person's education is one of the most important aspects in determining whether or not they will become a productive member of society. Education is so important. We need to look at both public and private schools to find out if there is a difference. Private schools are a better choice than public school for many reasons. Private encourages strong quality teaching, encourages higher education learning, and inhibit the rampant of bullying.
I think private school are better and have more advantages than public school. There are upsides and downsides for both schools. Private schools have newer facilities and other materials. The benefits of private school for the students are that they have smaller class sizes and better teacher ratios from the students. Private have a high standards for discipline and respect to one another. Seventy two percent of parents agreed to send their kids to private school, because it has greatly improved students’performance and brighter experience and achievements in there harder lessons (Maga 2). Students will also have more individual attention. Students are motivated by the teachers to help in their studies. Parents would also have more opportunities to get involved with their kid’s education and that is very good thing. Private have flexible teaching methods for the students to do better. Class Size is another issue. In private schools there’s usually smaller classes, so students are getting more attention. This makes it better for the students because if they need help, then it’s easier to get help from the teachers and to be more focused because of less noise and easier for teachers to control their classrooms.
The public schooling vs. homeschooling debate has become one of the most discussed and perhaps controversial topics that parents have to think about when choosing how they wish to educate their children. Most parents choose to go the route of public school education but both are not without their advantages and drawbacks. The most obvious differences between the two types of schooling reside within the atmosphere, roles of parents and teachers, and social interactions between children.
Public schools are free. Low-income families can attend without worrying about money, unlike homeschools that have a cost to buy curriculums, materials, and equipment. Also, in homeschooling one family member must give up their income in order to teach their children, and most families can not afford to do that (Szegedy-Maszak).
Public schools have pros and cons just like any other form of education. One of the pros is that it is less expensive. Textbooks are generally provided free of charge and if something does require money, the child may have the opportunity to rent the item or have the fee waived due to financial restrictions. Another pro is that a child, especially during the high school years, can have a choice in what courses they take throughout the years of their educational career. The students can also drop out of the majority of the classes that are not mandatory and replace them with another class that they prefer or would do better in. Whether someone prefers a public school or a private school, it all depends on the person. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to appreciate all that public schools have to offer because they get their vision blurred by all the benefits of private schools. The only thing holding them back may be cost. If these people would just take some time to find that there are just as many wonderful things about the schools our governments provide, they may feel more confident in their choice. Those never exposed to anything but private education miss out on the diversity among students, extra vocational and extracurricular classes, and may even continue to not understand all that public schools have to offer.
Public education has been able to provide the necessary education to students, despite its limited capabilities. Students are offered the same education in public schools as they are in private schools. Students make their choice on whether or not they want to apply themselves, and learn from the teachers in front of them. In private schools students are excited to learn. Maybe that is why they have better test scores. Students enrolled in public schools have a tendency to fail, or some succeed. These options are taken by students who who either try, or do not care. Either way, every student has an equal opportunity to gain an education.
First things first, much of the difference between the two have to do with money. Public schools are funded by tax dollars, whereas private schools demand tuition from their students. Public schools are prohibited from charging for tuition, or other fees that could incur, such as: transportation, materials, and textbook. On the opposite end, private schools, charge for tuition, and many charge for textbooks and materials.
Public schools can be less demanding but still it’s more clicks and bullying because it’s so many kids in one school it’s so hard to keep track of one. One big difference would be class schools. Public schools have more kids in one class than private there are more opportunities in private to ask for help and get more attention when lacking and can find more resources to help them maybe with the teacher after class
