Often people believe that playing the lottery or other forms of gambling will make you rich. This is not a good idea. You have a very unlikely chance of winning enough to make you rich. Statics say that you have a 1 and 175 million chance of winning the lottery. You may believe that it is your lucky day and you’re going to take a chance, but is the chance worth the amount you pay to try to win. People often say gambling is addiction, and not a good addiction.

Gambling is basically taking a risky chance on a desired result. Las Vegas is the fastest growing city in the U.S. Players lose $6 billion a year at Las Vegas casinos. Gambling is highly addictive and people owning casinos know that. The only one getting rich on gambling is the people who own the casino. You may not realize that you are changing yourself due to your idea “I’m going to get rich of the gambling or maybe even the lottery.” You may think that gambling is fun at first which it might be but that first time can easily become a addiction without allowing yourself to realize it. Gambling can make you moody or rude to the ones you love without even noticing it. If you have a family, family takes money if you haven’t realized you may be running your family. You may think its not a bad thing but gambling can get to the point were it’s a bad vice.
