“Okay Thank you” kay said We may just think it is nice or generous to give someone our work to copy.We would think, he/she is my friend and its fine and think to our self no one will figure out. Giving someone your work to copy is unacceptable. You giving someone your work to copy is not deeply thought out.You don’t think about how hard you may have worked to complete this assignment. In addition to the person that is copying your work that is plagiarism in which you can face many consequences Rather than just doing the work yourself in order to avoid these

Zainab is trying to say that when you are cheating you are taking advantage of what you are learning. Meaning that when your teacher is teaching something you are not paying attention or not putting in your full potential when she is teaching. In addition because you are not paying attention when the teacher is teaching and you relying on cheating. Basically being credited for something you haven't learned and just copied.“When someone cheats, he is lying to himself, and lying to the professor who is correcting his paper and giving him a good grade for something that the student hasn’t even studied.”If a student starts cheating, and succeeds, he could go on in his life and continue cheating on others, whether it is in business matters or in his marital life.” ~ Latifa Svidjee. Latifa is trying to say that when someone cheats they are cheating them self and not the teacher or their peers, the only person it will effect if you cheat is you.In addition Latifa is basically saying that when you cheat it will affect you in the long run and not others, not only physically cheating but cheating your self at doing stuff that you know you are capable of.Yo would be basically doubting your self and trying to find the easy way
By using logos audience appeal, logical reasoning, he is presenting his audience with a straightforward way to help the American high education system recover. He states a rebuttal argument and gives the reader another idea toward cheating in a school environment. “Cheating now hurts American higher education; it might well be cheating that can begin to save it” (Chace 201). Cheating in higher education is more severe and frowned up then primary school. From reading this quote, it could mean that it does hurts higher education, but when someone cheats it is to be considered that a good grade was received. So people can determine that cheating
However, this defeats the whole purpose of school. If students are plagiarizing to get by, not only is there no creativity and originality, but it would not benefit them going on in the real world. It will not teach them how to use their brain to think critically on what they are doing. Depending on the severity of the plagiarism, consequences can vary. Some of these consequences could be getting kicked out of college, losing your position at a corporation or institution and possibly running into the risk of finding employment
Day by day, people become having more greed. We notice that they try to cheat or steal anything to achieve their goals. Nowadays, big companies are specialized only to imitate products, without permissions by the manufacturing companies, such as car spare parts, clothes and shoes. Likewise so many writers commit plagiarism because they merely think about their own good, while they do not think about the consequences. The way of paying the price of this kind of crime depends on the reaction of the original writers or the organizations investigating their laws to protect copyright.
The impact of plagiarism can be a self-destructive for a student. On the other hand, plagiarism may cause an instructor to feel betrayed and disrespected by a student.
Academic integrity is a commitment, even in the face of adversity, that is based on five fundamental values including honesty, trust, fairness, respect and a responsibility for your actions.
Cheating is “to prevent (someone) from having something that he or she deserves or was expecting to get” (Merriam-Webster). Cheating and plagiarism usually occur in school, like a student cheats on a test and receives credit for someone else 's work. According to Crimson
When we have an idea or insight, rarely is it the first time it has ever occurred to an individual. Furthermore, what we learn through formal education, dialogue, and reading (for those who pay attention) becomes an integral part of our thought--we assimilate the ideas of others. Thus, what we may think and say is not necessarily of our own origin, but rather it is a conglomeration of the ideas of others in conjunction with our own native thoughts and understanding--such is human nature. However, there is a fundamental difference between this assimilation of idea and thought through socialization/education versus plagiarism. Plagiarism is defined, as the knowing act of stealing another's ideas and passing those ideas on as your own with the intent to deceive. It is theft of intellectual property which is owned and has value. Plagiarism is to steal and lie while assimilation is the process of educating the mind to gain knowledge from a vast variety of sources. Even though there is significant difference between the legal and moral dealings of plagiarism, there is overlap between the is and ought. Socrates and Confucius, we have read, would agree that assimilation is necessary for education and for being moral, but, as I will show, consider that plagiarism is immoral.
I had to face with what I am going to do with my life. With this in mind, I could see how students could feel that plagiarizing could be the best option for them. However, if I had plagiarized through my school work I could have easily ruined my goals for my future. From what I know, my definition of plagiarism would be basically stealing someone elses work. As far as I can remember through all my schooling I have been taught that plagiarizing is wrong. In elementary school, around the time of starting the fourth grade, was the first time I knew the basics about plagiarism. High school though is really the time where I learned about the consequences of plagiarism. While doing my first research paper, the teacher made it clear that if anyone in the class plagiarized you would not only fail the assignment, you would fail the class, the principal would be n...
plagiarism is the act of passing off someone’s work as your own. So I think there is nothing good about plagiarism. It’s a form of intellectual fraud. Academic assignments are designed to help the student if the student ends up doing plagiarism then he is not learning anything all he doing copying someone else’s work as their own. I think for the sake of learning we must avoid plagiarism.
In conclusion, the issue of academic integrity does not only affect an individual, but also an institution. Therefore, it is the duty of students and schools to ensure that ethical principles are upheld all the time. Moreover, institutions of higher learning should deal with all reported cases of academic dishonestly severely to deter others. In addition, a culture of academic integrity should be promoted. For students, it is even more important because it helps them to avoid losing a potential career due to misconduct. Moreover, upholding the values of ethics and integrity provides them with intrinsic
Academic integrity holds a great deal of weight. This includes honesty in the work produced, as well as being able to accomplish the work. Responsibility in addition plays important factor into integrity. I see responsibility as owning up to what has to be done and getting done. If I have an assignment due, I need to have that obligation completed by the set due date. Trust also helps with this. As a freshman, I have to trust that my professors will give the right amount of time to do assignments, and in return I must do the work I’m capable of.
Without academic integrity, learning can never be assured. Honesty is not fixated, and changes by situation. Everyone should strive for academic honesty or integrity. By trying your hardest and receiving what you deserve, you will go farther than anyone else in life.
Plagiarism is a very serious topic to be dealt with, due to the fact that it can damage one’s future very severely. It is done often by students in high school and other institutes such as universities and colleges. People plagiarize intentionally and sometimes even unintentionally. The people who plagiarize intentionally are people who don’t really care about their future and career. The people who plagiarize unintentionally are people who do not cite their work properly and completely. Most people that plagiarize do not get a good mark and most likely have to face consequences such as failure, suspension or the chance of being expelled. In conclusion it is believed that one should not put his/her future at risk and try to expand their mind through the process of critical thinking independently, so they do not have to make the mistake of plagiarizing.
Students that copy other student's work are hurting themselves in the long run. Their creativity level drops every time they copy or have someone else do their work. After a while of copying and forging, the student's ability to think creatively and successfully becomes next to nothing. "Educators must continue to socialize students of all ages about the importance of maintaining high ethical standards," (Glazer 222). The educational system is where students learn these tricks and proceed to carry them on into there professional careers. Corners are too easy to cut these days, and in order for people to keep their minds as functional as possible, they need to do their own work. It is too easy for students to buy a students paper that had the same class the quarter before, reword it a little, and turn it in as their own. Students are no longer able to write a fictional story by themselves because the computer or someone else can do it for them.
Plagiarism is a very serious subject to talk about. It doesn’t sound like it is that big of a deal but very serious things can come out of it. Students could lose scholarships and get kicked out of school for something as simple as copying someone else’s work. Students should learn the rules and regulations of the school ,that they are attending, about plagiarism.[1] That’s basically what plagiarism is; copying someone else’s work.
