Nature is amazing. People are discovering new creatures every day. Some of things that people discover are mind-boggling. A group of fishermen recently caught a monkfish. These fish come from the coast of Gibraltar. They can be found at the bottom of the seafloor. These monkfish have huge feet, and they hide until they find prey to catch.
Monkfish can grow to huge sizes. The reason that these fish have such huge jaws is because of their hunting style. They ambush and kill their prey. Their huge mouths make it easy for the prey to fall into the monkfish's mouth. Most people would steer clear of this fish if they saw it.

Since this first encounter I have caught lots of these magnificent fish and as the years go by they seem to keep getting bigger and bigger. I have developed several baits and presentations that help me to catch these fish and I would like to share them with you.

Unicorns are said to only be true in fairy tales, however there are real unicorns swimming in the oceans today. One of the most interesting yet particularly weird animals living on this planet would have to be the Narwhal or the unicorn of the sea. The Narwhal is a whale that lives in the Arctic and because of its seclusion to the northern seas this whale remains a mystery to most people.
On the way to Texas, we had to drive across the Louisiana Bridge. While we were driving across the bridge, I noticed that the bridge was standing in one huge murky muddy marsh. In the marsh were cattails. They were growing and were being used as a disguise by many of animals. I was staring at the water below us and it took me a minute but I saw an alligator in the midst of the cattails. He was long and a grayish brown. He was camouflaging himself within the cattails. It did not take long for us to pass him but I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen.

Fish have more known species than any other vertebrate and their habitats range from the smallest freshwater streams to the deepest parts of the seafloor. They grow from a fraction of an inch to 50 feet and live anywhere from the arctic waters to the tropics. Fish skeletons can either be made of nothing but cartilage or nothing but bone. They can look very awkward or very majestic.
My friend had invited me along with him and his family to the ocean. It was vacation for the family, but for him and me it was the beginning of a week of serious business. We had an obsessive hobby to pursue. As avid and long-term freshwater fisherman, we were thrilled by the thought of catching those large and exotic saltwater fish we had seen on television a billion times before. Yet little did we expect there to be such vast differences between our freshwater fishing and the saltwater fishing, which we were about to pursue. We learned through trial and much error that in order to have a successful saltwater fishing experience we had to make adjustments to all the freshwater tackle, tactics, and gear we knew.
The fish withholds a great part in this book. The Old Man and the Sea is a book that’s about a small town where the residents revolve their lives around fishing. The fish is a symbol of beauty and it is a greatly admired creature to these people. An example from the book is on page 49. Santiago has been fishing for 84 days and decides not to return home without a fish on the 85th day. On the 85th day, alone in the boat, he manages to hook an enormous marlin, the biggest fish he's ever seen in all his life. The fish is larger and stronger than Santiago. Santiago's experienced fishing skills and his will to catch and survive push him to pursue the fish for many days and many miles out to sea.
The crew threw harpoons at the creature, but those would not stay in the flesh for long. When the crew got close enough to put a noose around the creature, the rope tightened and cut through the animal, causing most of it to sink to the bottom of the sea. The crew, however, managed to pull the tail of the creature on board, and bring it back to the French Consul. From there, the tail and a report about the creature made its way to the French Academy of Sciences. Giant squid, of which there are many different species, have been spotted less than fifty times in the last century, but none have been seen in their natural habitat, the depths of the sea, or caught on tape.
Fishing contains a wide variety of physics. when you cast you are using projectile motion and rotational motion. when you hook a fish it will often use the drag from the current agenst you. Immagine draging a fish through a swift current. You deal with the tention of your line, and the friction of the line through the guides. you also deal with friction when you use a drag.
Have you ever made a wish? Ever just longed for one something with all your might? A wish is simply a desire one has. This desire does not necessarily have to be realistic nor self-aiding or even beneficial to anyone. The short story, “What of This Goldfish Would You Wish?” written by Etger Keret exemplifies this previously stated fact in that it is a tale of a lonely man named Sergi Goralick and Yonatan. These two gentlemen cross paths on the base of one common factor: A magic goldfish. Sergi proves to be a dynamic character in the plot of this story.
That fish is Edward Bloom. A compulsive storyteller, who enjoyed living life to it’s fullest. This extraordinary film is based on a collection of cleverly crafted stories from the novel, by Daniel Wallace. William Bloom (Billy Crudup) is a journalist who wants to find the truth behind his fathers’ mythical stories, to find out the truth about Edward, who is dying of cancer. For too long has Will heard the unending series of tales his father claims is his life.
Look closely. Instead of picking animals up, quietly stop and watch the rocky shore animals for a few minutes. You’ll see much more this way.

I ran to the front of the boat to look down into the water and I kept noticing all these little white puffs everywhere. From where I was, they kind of looked like plastic bags floating through the water. I called Kristi and my dad over to see them. As we were watching, these poofy little balls kept appearing out of nowhere, there must have been hundreds. Finally, a really big one floated its way into our line of vision and from the eighth deck we were able to see what they were. Jellyfish! Cute little iridescent balls of cotton.
