The passion and will to raise and love a child is universal. Depending on personal reasons such as infertility or just wanting to expand the family people adopt. The attention of adoption has expanded over the last decade. It is very common to see couples a adopt but what about the people who are single and still want a family of their own. A single person who is mentally,physically, and financially sound should be allowed the option of adopting and raising a child. Caring for a child may be physically straining to a person but it is not impossible. Single parents who adopt can confide in the support of family members, friends and daycare centers just like any other single parent does. Children are our future and should be cared for by any person who is willful and able of doing so despite of marital status. It is true a single parent may have hardships yet there are many single parents with keep afloat while sustaining a job. A child should not be impoverished of love and support just because the child is raised in a single-parent home. Single adoptive parents are actually resourceful in financial management. If the parent has evaluated their finances thoroughly before going to an agency explain step-by-step how they will provide for the child it will see how honest and committed the parent is. Children in foster care experience emotional and physical suffering. They need a home. There are single people who wants to love and nurture these children.
