Wind energy has been utilized for hundreds of years. Such a simple technology and source of energy has always been around, and has been used slightly, but never to its full potential. Only recently have people been discovering and engineering ways to utilize the great, natural, free source of energy that the universe gives us. Renewable, safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly sources of energy are becoming more and more important in such an, already, physically damaged world that we live in. It is becoming a household debate, and a debate in which many world leaders are taking notice and action towards. There is plenty of upside in investing in renewable energy, but people and countries are so reluctant because of how cheap non-renewable There may be different nations, landmarks, and territories, but we all are citizens of the same planet. The pollution and global warming that we face is a threat to all of humanity. That being said, I do think that certain populations/people are more affected by the lack of clean energy being provided. I think all people of industrialized places are unknowingly and unwillingly victims to being non-renewable energy reliant. As said before, we are so attached to these methods; we start unnecessary violence with other people and countries to attain these goods. People are hurt, killed, and wounded physically, but violence among countries also has a deep economic toll that greatly effects their people and their lives/lifestyles. There are many different populations effected by the uprising of wind energy. For example, wind energy’s most common form are wind turbines, but many experts think that the land used for the turbines can have a greater purpose if they were left for animals. On the topic of animals, there has been a very high number of bird/bat deaths because of the animals running into the blades of the turbines. On the other hand, the general human population would be much healthier, as would the state of the Earth, if wind energy was our primary source of energy. There is much complaint to the aesthetic of the turbine, and even more complaint of the noise it gives off when operating, which is an unintended consequence of wind energy. The main 29 of some of the largest countries in the world source 90% of their energy from fossil fuels. It is time to stop the reliance on such resources because the outcomes of that are bas in in of itself. War, terror, violence, bad blood, constant drilling into the Earth, are all outcomes that we face because of how much we lean on these limited resources. The past few decades, the use of wind energy has been on the rise, but it is time to start relying on it and utilizing every way of attaining wind energy. Great ideas such as mini turbines to function streetlights to large turbines to function communities need to be used as much as possible for a cleaner and safer world to avoid a broad range of negative outcomes ranging from global warming to war and
