Health Care should considered a right not something that has to be earned. Many people who work forty hour weeks to provide for their families are still unable to afford their medical bills. Health care should be something that can be easily obtained by anyone. Today, the people who have health care insurance are either struggling to make a living because it’s so expensive or they’re billionaires. While many people don’t have healthcare insurance at all, so they’re forced to pay every penny upfront or they don’t go to the doctor at all. Not having insurance increases the amount you must pay upfront during a doctor's visit and the total cost of the total bill you pay after the visit. Having insurance allows you to not have to pay as much upfront and causes your bills to maybe be cut in half at the most, but on top of paying the copay and what’s left of the medical bill you’re also paying for your insurance every month or perhaps every weeks. Many families make a decent amount of money before bills, but what insurance companies and healthcare facilities don’t look at is how much that person actually has after they’ve paid the rest of their bills for the month. They may have enough to afford insurance before they pay electric, water, rent/mortgage, home/auto insurance, and their grocery bill. When charging people for insurance or health care services this should be looked at, so everyone would be charged for what they can afford instead of having a set payment for
