Tragedies happen all around the United States, from shooting in movie theatres to malls and killing innocent people, but most tragically school shootings while killing innocent children. School shooting is a big issue in the world today. The most recent is shooting at Parkland high school in Florida, killing 17 innocent students who are just going to school to learn. As these school shooting come arise, students are starting to question whether school is even safe anymore. School shooting is becoming more frequent, but finding the right solutions could stop this all and keep innocent people safe.

In our very own district a officer was visiting a school and a student was cerius and an incident happened. “ A curious student stuck his finger in a police officers holster and accidentally discharged the weapon into the gym floor.” Said by the ISD 622 supervisor. This shows that even though you might not expect these things to happen it could. A big solution that came to light but has a lot of controversy is allowing teachers to have concealed to carry in school. Donald trump stated after the florida shooting incident teachers should be able to have concealed to carry a gun to protect their students in case of a school shooting but as this came out large controversy had risen about why teachers shouldn't be able to have guns in school.
