Adopted into a Family "Good parenting is not influenced by sexual orientation. It is influenced most by a parents ability to create a loving and nurturing home. This ability has nothing to do with whether the parent is gay or straight." Everyone should be able to live their life without being labeled. With so many kids needing a home, no one should be turned down because of their sexual orientation.Gays and lesbians should have the same rights to adopt because they are good parents, kids deserve a home and their rights. Even if a kid is adopted by a gay or lesbian couple , it does not mean the kid will be gay/lesbian. Same sex couples do have the same parenting skills as straight parents. Gays and lesbians are just as loving ,and caring as any other parent.There is a shortage of adoptive parents. The 'family' whether gay or straight is better than the foster care system. Getting put in different homes, and never really having a place to call home really affects a child life. Giving the kids a chance to be in a loving home is better than getting tosed around in the foster system. Kids being adopted by a gay couple can confuse them. Many in society belive that gays do not have the right parenting skills. Same sex couples are going to confuse the children, and affect their life choices like religion ,and sexual prefance.Although, that is right, children still have the right to belive what they want ,and their own lifestyle.
