It always felt like running into a warm embrace from someone that means the world to you. You never feel like an outsider but like no time has passed since you last visited, like the last couples years never happened and you’ve spent your entire life there. Nowadays, when people think of Mexico drugs, narcos, violence, and a horrible economy come to mind, but it wasn't always like that.
