The Individualistic Personality Theory
Personality, throughout time, has had many dimensions and theories that determine how individuals will act within our society. Having a complete understanding of what personality means to every specific individual, has a lot to do with how people will act. Different views and understandings will equal a diverse set of acts. Personally, I would describe my own personality theory as The Individualistic Personality Theory. This name represents how I view personality within my own life and how I see personality on a daily basis. The five different dimensions within my theory are cohesive to a diverse group of individuals. Dimension 1 consists of heredity vs. environment. On one side of the spectrum, you have heredity, which is a form of upbringing and how individuals are taught to act within our society. future. On one side of the spectrum, you have the past. Every action and thought that has ever occurred within an individuals life pertains to their past. On the other side of the spectrum, you have ones future. Every goal, dream and thought that one has about striving and completing task makes up their future. I personally am on the future side of the spectrum. Ones past do not define who they are. I do believe that ones past will always be a part of them, but I do not think ones past should influence where that individual goes in life. It is all about ones future and dreams. Your individual goals and dreams promote life and allow people to strive and grow into society. Personally, if it were not for my dreams and determinism, I would not be where I am today.
