A simmering summer day with school finally out. The last day before I went to Newton, Kansas. My mom would be waiting for me and my grandparents there. But the only thing I wanted to do was sit and wait. Instead my step mother refused to let me spend it like that. She made a big fuss that my dad would be pissed off over. Probably ground me and take my carry on away to torture me. So we ventured into the woods. Juliet ( My Step Sister ) Thought it would be the best way to pass time by jumping in puddles. I had to avoid the spray. I moved into the anti-splash zone a few feet away from her. But she never let up. I walked a little further away closer to the river. And that's what fueled me and my sister to jump. She was first and it took about 10 minutes before she jumped. The moment she was down I felt for the first time a feeling I never felt before. I waited for her to be clear of my jumping space and called to her. And jumped. No time needed no one to tell me it's going to be ok. I jumped. And landed in the water ( Thunk ) the water moved out from my body so fast the the noise made everyone turn and look. My splash ( On recording ) Went back up to the top of the rocks. I felt energised. I made the jump almost 4 more times. But on the last one my step mom said we had to go. I told her one last plummet to my death, PLEEEEEEASE. She allowed it. Go figure the last one is always the last one. ( Think About It ) I jumped and the whole world felt like it stoped, the jump that forms in your stomach when the car goes over a pointy hill and you stomach turns. I felt my stomach jump through my body to the top and then I hit the water. The crack was the only thing I could hear. The loudness and the shock was the only thing I could feel..
