Roller-coasters gliding upside down, winding through a loop, lasting for as long as I could remember. Learning many things I’ve had many memorable and important experiences. It all started in the 20th of July. It was a saturday and was my fifth day working at the daycare. There was a field trip that day that everybody excited about. They needed an extra person to help with the field trip and I gladly volunteered to go with them. There were many great things about working at the daycare, but my favorite memory is the day I went to Valley Fair. I vividly remember the first time that I was about to go to an amusement park in sixth grade. I was extremely enthusiastic when my school informed me the day before that we were about to go to an amusement
Me, Donna, my daughter, Gina, and her friend, Jenny got stranded in the middle of one of the most dangerous places in the world. There was nothing even remotely green, the place was a desert, and it had an area of 3 million acres. We were going to drive to a landmark but we must have taken a wrong turn once we hit the mountains, I tried the GPS but that got us more lost. Then our supplies including gas ran out and we have been walking ever since.
I unwilllingly walked through the entrance of regret and guilt. With teary eyes from what happened the night before, I didn’t know what I could say. All I thought was ‘It was an accident’ but that didn’t matter anymore.
Apple Valley as a whole is a great place to settle down and live, but not every town can be completely perfect, something is always bound to happen. Petty theft, Car thefts, and vandalism are some downsides to this town. Sadly, all towns and cities have to deal with these kinds of people that do stuff to try and downgrade these wonderful places.
My feet are sore from rushed reps, and the sun is beating down on my back as I spin the routine for “America the Beautiful” for the umpteenth time. Mr. Rice had no sympathy despite this being the last day of band camp. The longer that I spent marching circles around the school, the more nervous I was about running out of time. It wasn't necessarily anybody's fault that the clock was ticking down, and that I was afraid of losing everything. The metronome beat endlessly, speeding up as if it wanted rest as much as we did.
I remember it like it was yesterday, my family took our first trip to Six Flags Great America. I was around seven years old and terrified by everything around me. The roller coasters were like brobdingnagian snakes that twisted throughout the entire park. My first rollercoaster changed my life forever. I was barely the required 48”, and my dad sat me down on American Eagle. Before the ride I was sobbing, yelling, and scared out of my mind. The lift hill had to be the longest moments of my life. We climbed up the 127’ slower than I thought possible, and then it happened. The car crested over the first hill, and the expression on my face couldn't have changed more. I went from a terrified and mortified child, to a boy who was on top of the world. The feeling of falling down the hill, then climbing up another and entering a helix and the some more
That’s how I felt like. One 90 degree day I went to Six Flags in San Antonio, Texas. The first ride that I and my dad went on was the boomerang! That was my very first time riding a rollercoaster. We got in the line which look like
I was so excited. I could hardly breathe through the hour drive it took to get there. I was squished between my two ten-year-old best friends in the back seat of a white Saturn, but I didn't care. I was practicing over and over in my head what I was going to say to all the smart-alecky adults who would tell me I was too young to ride the water slides. I was simply going to reply, "Actually I'm ten, going on eleven."
Love is treacherous and adventuring, but it can model you into the person you are today. When you ardor someone you will have a broad affection and a powerful awareness and want to share a future with them.
My family and I don’t have a lot of traditions, but as long as I can remember I have been going to the oregon country fair in Veneta, Oregon. It happens once a year during the second week of July. It is always on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The fair consists of hundreds of booths filled with delicious snacks, handmade goods, and other sorts of crafts. My grandmother created the booth Glamarama, when Country Fair first started in 1969. My booth is a hair braiding/face painting booth, which I absolutely love. My mom and about four other close friends face paint and my aunt and two other women hair braid. I have been learning to face paint from my mom since I was young, and I have always thought it was so beautiful. I just recently was able to paint in the booth since my skills have developed. Face painting is very rewarding because you get to connect with friendly strangers, and paint beautiful designs onto them.
It was dark , I couldn’t see anything , I was running around trying to find people but I couldn't find anybody . Here’s the story about how I got lost playing hide and seek in the dark in the corn fields . It was the scariest thing I have ever done I was 13 years old . I tried to be the tough kid and say that I would be it first , that was the dumbest thing I have ever done . It was my sister Lizzie, her friend Sydney ,and my friend Chance . We had one rule that you can only stay in the corn fields . So they told me to start counting to 50 so I did . They took off.
Have you had a really fun experience in your life? Such as going to an amusement park, to the beach, or any other places that are similar? I had a fun experience at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom amusement park. It started first with the attractions the park had, then it was the restaurant I ate at for lunch, and last I had enjoyed all the family bonding that was going throughout the entire day. So now that you know what my experience is about, I am now going to explain to you about the fun times I had in my experience at Magic Kingdom.
Every since I can remember I have liked to watch movies, I would never watch a scary
Ever since I was about six years old, I wanted in the worst way to go to Disneyland. I would hope every year that my parents would chose Disneyland as our next family vacation destination. I dreamt of the day I would come back from Disneyland with exciting tales of adventure and a pair of sparkly, ruby red and black Minnie Mouse ears of my very own that would be the envy of every kid in my elementary class. Once I finally went to Disneyland, it was amazing; Disneyland was everything I had expected and more. However, a couple years later when I returned to Disneyland, it was different. The rides, buildings, and everything in the park did not have the same allure. The magic I had experienced as a child was no longer there.
The light from the sun reflects off the pure white wall, illuminating the room. The dust floats, undisturbed by the empty house. This is what I see as I launch myself out the door, into the hot summer air, into the sounds of playing children.
I have always been fascinated by carnival rides. It amazes me that average, ordinary people eagerly trade in the serenity of the ground for the chance to be tossed through the air like vegetables in a food processor. It amazes me that at some time in history someone thought that people would enjoy this, and that person invented what must have been the first of these terrifying machines. For me, it is precisely the thrill and excitement of having survived the ride that keeps me coming back for more.
