Ever since I was a young girl, my parents always told me to persevere and overcome any challenges given to me. When I was in my middle school, I played the violin in my school’s orchestra. I was not very skilled at playing the violin, but I was determined to be in one of the leading positions. I was in the back of the second string violinists for over half of the school year. I practiced two hours everyday to become better at playing the instrument. Eventually my efforts paid off, my teacher transitioned me to lead the second string violinists.
