Have you ever been so excited for something that the night before you couldn’t sleep at all? I couldn’t get it off my mine, I couldn’t focus on anything else. After driving around in my little yellow car for a year or two, it was finally time for a much needed upgrade. I didn’t want to be the girl in the “Yellow Bomber” anymore. The car I was going to get was a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox 2LT. When I got to take my car home for the first time, I instantly fell in love with it. The first thing I noticed that I liked about it was the style, color, and the interior. After driving it for a few days I got use tot the features it has and I liked them a lot. Of Couse an added bonus was how safe it was on the road and the 2-wheel drive. The Chevrolet Equinox is a midsized SUV; it is a very spacious car with a lot of room in the backseat. This car was introduced in 2004 and had a little over 84,000 sales in the United States. By the time 2015 rolled around, close to 280,000 of these cars were sold in the U.S. It seems like the numbers are increasing more and more with each year. Feeling safe while driving is very important, especially if you have friends to family in the car with you. You want to not only assure your safety while in the car, but also theirs. While driving this car, I always feel safe and mostly during the winter season when I need safety the most. Having reliable breaks are important while driving in the snow and Icey roads. I never drove a vehicle with 4-wheel drive until I got this car and it really make a different. It’s a nice feeling to know you will be safe while going to work or school, and knowing you are less likely to go in the ditch or slide into oncoming
