My name is Triny Gomez, and my favorite sport is football. The reasons why I am madly in love with this sport are many. I love to run with purpose while staying active, sweat while throwing and catching the football up and down the field, and most of all I love being very competitive as I tackle my opponents. Here is some more elaboration on a few of the reasons why I like football. I love to get on the field and tackle people. Nothing makes me happier than stopping people in their tracks when they think they are going to get past me. I like getting tumbled in those big piles when everyone falls for the ball and we all get stacked on each other. I like being the one on top of the pile. I like football because I love running up and down the
When I turned three, I started playing my favorite sport to this day, Soccer! I love soccer because it gives me this feeling of excitement and I just love winning with all of my friends on the field. I loved soccer and I looked forward to it every day. I met a lot of my friends in soccer and it is one of the reasons that I started to become an athletic person. Soccer is still my favorite sport and I love it. I am planning to still play soccer up to the varsity team.
There are many things that have molded me into the person I am today such as being born into a family with four children. With three siblings, I have been forced to be able to work out problems from stealing each other’s toys to having to rush to the emergency room to get stiches because my brother chased me around the house and I tripped. My mother, father, brother, and two sisters were all born in Pennsylvania and I am the odd ball and I was born in Adrian, Michigan. From when I was a child I always loved being involved with sports because of my competitive nature. I grew up playing soccer and having success with that but then my love changed and I began playing lacrosse and football. I started playing lacrosse in middle school and played
I am Estefania Perez. I am a first generation Mexican-American college student. Growing up we did not have many luxuries. However, my family and I were fortunate enough to take a few trips to Mexico. We stayed in my grandparent’s farm, a remote rural area 45minutes away from the closest city. The houses are still made out of adobe and the night sky is brighter than any city. This is the place where I fell in love with simplicity and where my appetite for adventure was triggered. During my stay I was free to roam the country without any worry but with curiosity, something I couldn’t have back in Chicago. As I grew older and enhanced my education I kept looking back at my travels and knew they held something meaningful but I wasn’t certain what
It’s a sport you have to enjoy, you have to love getting down in the dirt to be safe on a base. You have to love running fast so that you make it home to score. You have to love picking up that bat and swinging as hard as you can to get the ball as far as you can. I love all these things about softball. I even enjoy “taking one for the team” which means you may get out at but you helped advance your teammate to the next base. Softball is my favorite sport because it’s a difficult sport and I really enjoy playing
All of my life I have been called countless names, some of which irritated me and some did not bother me at all. In elementary school, when kids thought about the name ‘Jackie’ they tended to connect it to Jackie Chan thus calling me ‘Jackie Chan’. Furthermore, the kids seemed to link the name to being a masculine name the majority of the time, which began to annoy me since I answered the question, “Why do you have a boy’s name,” so many times. As years went by, I became used to being asked the question and the kids matured, thus stopped calling me ‘Jackie Chan.’
In my opinion, football is far most the best sport I have ever played. The reason is because it is much more entertaining and exciting to play and it is more of a workout to the player that is participating in the sport. Football helps you build stronger and stronger and it helps test your speed and endurance. It is far tougher than any other sport. I am going to explain to you a few reasons why I think football is the best sport.
I have always been involved in sports in some way or another. I was team captain in every sport imaginable in elementary school. Junior high I continued to be involved in sports, but it wasn't until high school started that I really got into it. I played soccer, softball and basketball at Rogers High School. I particularly loved soccer. Just playing it gave me a rush I had never felt before. Also knowing that this sport took a lot of hard work and dedication gave me a sense of satisfaction, because I knew that I put everything I had into it. Putting a lot of dedication and hard work into something may prove to be useful in the future.
Football has been a big part of my life ever since I was a little kid. I almost always tried to play football when I could with my brothers if they weren’t busy messing around. During recess in grade school my class would try to start a football game and I would be the first in to be picked on a team. My first time being on a “football team” was in little league my third grade year and I’ve never missed a year yet now that I am a senior in highschool and I’m hoping to continue it in college. Football made the person who I am today, it changed me in many ways and affected how I am as a person.
Before birth football seemed like it would be a factor in my life. My uncles and cousins were key players of their high school football teams. Even though they were a factor I developed a love for the game myself. The drive from my family made me want to go harder.
I have constantly loved soccer since the day I began playing in California for my youth soccer group.I had never followed it much and just knew how to play until I moved to India. In America soccer is not that prevalent a game compared to Baseball and American Football however around the globe it is the most famous game on the planet. I have always played football however I had never followed it until I was 14 and that touched off an enthusiasm in me like nothing else.
Playing softball is my passion. Softball itself is a very unique sport. The ball is larger, the ball comes faster, you have tons of range to cover, it’s simply just a sport that takes 12 girls that are passionate for it, and willing to give it their all. And I’m gladly passionate for it. I love every bit of softball from the laces the pitcher uses to throw that nasty curveball, to the drop 10 bat that hits the winning ball over the fence in the Championship game.
Every Sunday afternoon at halftime of the Dallas Cowboys football game, my dad and I strolled outside and threw the football around. Together, we would run all of the different patterns that we had just finished watching on television. I shared a bond with my dad that no one else shared with me, and that was the intense love of the game of football.
Hi, I am Ella Ache. This is my first year in Ontario next to Gloomy Lake. I know the name makes the place sound miserable and it is, but misery, ridicule and depression keep me alive. Now you are probably freaked out by this, but it is true since my dad is the original god of ridicule and my mom the original goddess of misery I got cursed I can’t leave near happiness and love. You are probably thinking she has to be kidding right well I am not and I still can be happy and have friends, but i just conform to the people I live near I am just as miserable as the rest of them. My dad and mom can’t accompany me in my journey to claim my Goddess title Eleos goddess of the depression so I live on Earth with miserable people even for me, they are awful,
American Football is not merely a sport, its a culture. In the south football is in some ways a lifestyle. From the rivalries to the championships its truly one of the most exciting sports to have ever been created. This is why I love it so much, it is much more than just a game it has a much deeper meaning to it. From the outside looking in, many people do not fully realize the impact it has on each and every player throughout its history. Football has made me who I am today.
My great football player is someone who is passionate about football. He lives football; it is all he thinks about ,so the fans and other players know when that big moment comes, he will not let them down. He puts
