Doctors are responsible of saving the lives of people. They are people on whom the public relies upon in times of need. It is a long journey for a person who wants to be a doctor. In the movie we see doctors in medical school trying their best to stay there. Young doctors bring new ideas to the medical field, as they may have a different view towards patients and the world. Patch Adam had admitted himself in a mental clinic and this is where he finds out what he wants to do with life. He is a determined student who wants to use his passion and humor to help treat people and save lives. Being in the medical field can be a tough thing if a person lacks determination.
