In the previous paper, I mentioned about the Panopticon’s advantages and disadvantages and how does it impact our daily life. As time flies, Panopticon is no longer to have one form only, prison, but transformed into many different forms surrounding our lives gradually. This time I will talk about one of its forms in daily lives, in detail to tell you the functions of it and the horror of its power.
Restaurants are a necessity satisfying citizens in modern society. Whenever people have meetings with friends or customers, having food in restaurant is one of the best options. The first one is the main purpose of installing surveillance camera which takes it for granted. The security system gave out power affecting employees to be self-disciplined. Therefore, they would give better service to their customer in order to get more tips from them. With better services, people have better mood which makes people want to order more beverage like beer.
