There are lots of concerns on whether pain medication is a good usage for athletics. Several advantages and disadvantages take place when painkillers are in the hands of an athlete. If the medicine is used responsibly, I think that painkillers are a good thing for sports. “The advantages of taking painkillers far outweigh any side effects according to recent studies. Since their invention, ASA painkillers have become increasingly popular. Pain medicine is a good thing for athletes. I believe that because they keep athletes in the game longer when they are injured or sick. The medicine helps the people forget or not notice their pain so they can stay longer in the sporting event while being safe. Some are healthy and good for people, and some can kill you and are illegal. The reason there is a concern whether the medicine is a good thing for sports is because, athletes will overdose greatly and become addicted. Today there are athletes in prison because of addictions to medicine. Also athletes are dead because of overdoses and taking the wrong kind (illegal) of medicine.
