Baseball players, do you actually have talent? Well some players do, but they don't believe they have enough talent and they want to win and be the best. To help them win they use Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDS) which make them faster, stronger and gives them the energy and stamina to last longer in games. PEDS from my opinion aren't good for you and players should not be using them. Some professional baseball players use PEDS to hit harder and run faster. I am going to explain three reasons why it is important that PEDS should not be used. First of all, an astonishing number of sports players and fans thinks PEDS helps them and makes them better, but in reality they are harmful for them and their health. It can give you stress because then you have to do PEDS if you are addicted. If you get addicted, it is hard to stop and I don’t think you should even start in the first place. Evidence to support my claim is “Now, there is empirical evidence that some abusers of anabolic steroids become addicted, continuing their drug use despite negative effects on their physical health” (Belousek, Professional Baseball & Performance-Enhancing Drugs). This evidence supports my claim because how you can get addicted to PEDS and that it’s hard to stop. Also if they don’t stop they will keep doing
