It is clear that many aspects of human life have been corrupted in one way or another. Although not all of these corruptions are seen, many are right in front of us. If we just opened our eyes we could see the the harsh reality in many things. Something is simply as the food we eat, many of times has a much more complex and dark truth then we as humans could even imagine. The meat we eat isnt always prepared the way we may think it is. The vegatables we consume may not always be grow the way with think. For it is true that many of these processes have been heavyily altered over the years and the findings through film, articles, books and interviews are strartling. Its silent manner opposed to describtions , interviews and dialogue leaves the viewer to have theyre own opinion of the matter. As you watch the brutal reality of food production you soon realize there is no words to describe this horror. What really captures the audience in this film is the level of non restriction the camera men have when going into these slaughter houses. Unlike the documentary food inc , Our daily bread gives you real footage of the inside of these slaughter houses and the conditions to which these animals live. Although the footage is extremely unsettling to the average viewer, it serves as a wake up call. In food inc although they describe these conditions they do not have actual footage which i believe is key in grasping the audience full attention and understanding. Hearing is one thing but seeing is another. Another visual point that really got my attention was when they showed the process of how the pigs were slaughtered. First stunning the pigs , then cutting them open and so on and finally cutting tje pigs feet off. Of course this process was disgusting and rather unsettling but it showed the true fear in the pigs eyes and the crys they let out. Another scene similar shows a cow being placed in the slaughter machine and the moment the cow did you could see it shake n cry.
