Many family members and all generations since, have participated in some way in the support of children and families. This has created a strong historical frame work for adoption, fostering both formally and informally, supporting families in need with food and shelter, as well as employment assistance. Although members of my very large family have had various religious belief systems, there was never a judgement of where someone was coming from or why they found them selves in the situation they were in; only growth and informed decision making moving forward.
