What is the importance of never giving up? If you give up, you will never be able to pursue your true dreams. As Jesse Jackson once said, ¨If you fall behind, run faster. Never give up, never surrender, and rise up against the odds.¨ Giving up will only make you weaker. It is not what we accomplish that makes us strong, it is what it took to get there. The importance of never giving up is that you will become stronger mentally and that you can can accomplish anything you want. The first reason why never giving up is important is because it makes you stronger. This is relatable to my life because I have had so many times where I just wanted to give up. When I had started taekwondo, I really liked it. Then it got to the point where it was very difficult and I didn't think that I could do any of it. I wanted to quit but my parents wouldn't let me. They told me to keep trying and never give up. That's what I did. I'm glad that I didn't´t quit and kept going. This reminds me of the movie Miracle. This movie is about a hockey coach, Herb Brooks, who hired a bunch of hockey players to play for the U.S. olympic hockey team. He saw that the Soviet Union was very good at hockey and were undefeated. The U.S. played the Soviets multiple times and lost all of them. Coach Brooks was very determined to win and put the team to non-stop practice. As the practice time got longer, the players had stopped trying. He fired all of the players that were not determined to win. He knew that it would take lots of hard work and determination to beat the Soviets, but he had set his mind straight on it. When he and his team worked hard, they got better and went to the finals. They played with all they had and ended up beating the Soviets. They never gave up and kept trying.
