Music, in general, has a diverse variety of careers. Each one works together to form the musical master pieces we all love. Some careers in the music industry include music publisher, marketing executive, music producer, manager, and songwriter. From one job to the next, the music industry would not be the same without the individuals who fulfill these titles. A music publisher’s job is to guarantee that profits are made and collected when a songwriter’s work is used commercially. A publisher’s job warrants them to create a publishing contract which entails copyrighting. Without the hard work that music publisher put in, songwriters and composers would not make any money off of their hard work. A marketing executive job description, on the other hand, includes public relations, distribution, sponsorship and, most importantly, advertising. .
