In Mitch Albom’s book Tuesdays with Morrie, Morrie’s ALS diagnosis changes his life. It completely redesigns how he lives. In his earlier years, Morrie was a professor at Brandeis University. There, he was able to meet Mitch, the author of the story. In the little time that Mitch was enrolled in Morrie’s class, he developed a close relationship with Morrie. After Mitch graduated and a broken promise later, Mitch finds out that Morrie has ALS. Mitch decides after years of not seeing Morrie, to spend his last few months with him. With a new mindset on life, Morrie taught lessons about life that leaves Mitch with an idea of what he wants to fill his life with.
