The Renaissance was a time when people cared a lot about the arts and strayed away from religion. This happened in the early to mid 1000 and it was the rebirth of western culture. Michelangelo was a Renaissance painter and sculpture from Italy. Michelangelo whos accomplishments show the values of the renaissance and had a big impact on the world. Michelangelo had many artistic accomplishments during the Renaissance. Are painting things such as the Sistine Chapel and sculpted things such as the statue of King David and Moses. Things he also painted were “God creating Man”,”God creating the Sun and Moon” and “Man in Hell” all of these were painted on the inside of the Sistine Chapel. The story of Michelangelo painted the Sistine chapel.
