Malcolm Little was a very powerful man. Civil Rights Activist and minister, Malcolm was very courageous. This man stood up for what he believed in and he got shot for it. He was also very brave, Malcolm grew up when blacks didn’t have the equal rights that they have today. No one ever thought blacks would get to live a normal life. Blacks thought they were going to keep being beaten and abused by people who didn't care about them. People thought it was going to be like this forever. I personally think that the people in the Civil Rights Movement were powerful people that had a lot of faith. I would just like to say thanks to all those people who brought justice to their life because who knows where I would have been today. Malcolm was a Black Nationalist leader who was a spokesman for Islam. He moved over to Islam for a while because he was under protection from the people who wanted him dead. When he was over in Islam Malcolm was shot in the head February 21, 1965. He was was pronounced dead on arrival at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital shortly after. Thomas Hagan, the assassin of Malcolm, was captured. Thomas Hagan was released forty-four years after killing Malcolm. Nobody ever actually knew why he did it but he must have had some reason. Malcolm was just about to give another speech at the Audubon Ballroom in Manhattan. Police immediately rushed to Malcolm to see if he was okay or if he had been shot, looks to me that some caucasian people did care. Malcolm died few hours later and his last words to his family were “I love you”. To this day Malcolm has made a big improvement in our lives. Malcolm X just wanted everyone to live a peaceful and happy life. There is nothing that could compare to what Malcolm did for this world today. People say that he had a very strong head and knew what he wanted and he knew what he was going to get. Malcolm Little made a huge difference in what we call a world
