Malala Rhetorical Analysis

The adjectives that I would use to describe Malala is: ambitious, courageous, and frank. The reason why I’m using these adjectives to describe Malala is for the following reasons:
Ambitious: Malala has made a goal to help girls receive their education (In Pakistan, girls are NOT allowed to receive an education) and showing why it is important to be educated. She has promised to stick with that goal no matter what danger lies in front of her. She will not stop until the rights for girls to receive an education have been accomplished.
Courageous: Malala was aware of the Taliban coming after her for contradicting them. So on October 9, 2012, Malala had been shot in the head by a gunman while coming home from school. She manages to survive the bullet to the head. After that incident, she still makes her speeches in order to keep her movement moving forward into a deeper process. This shows that not even a bullet to the head will slow down Malala from making a difference not only in Pakistan but around the world.

After Malala was shot by the Taliban, Citizens has finally realized that the Taliban is very ruthless for shooting a girl who wants to voice her own opinion about the unfair rules that is put against girls. It takes a strong protest in order to get the governments attention. It is ridiculous how the government of Pakistan and the United States hasn’t made a speech, protest, etc. for woman rights. The only difference between the women treated in Pakistan and the United States is that the woman in the United States isn’t forced into marriage and pregnancy at a young age, girls and women can get educated, there is more death for women in Pakistan such as disobeying the
