Whether it is with family, friends, or significant others our lives are filled with relationships that are incredibly close to our hearts. Some of these are so important to us that we hope they never come to an end, but the only way to truly preserve relationships is to have a strong and healthy bond. Qualities such as trust, communication, and forgiveness are key to keeping a healthy relationship. Trust is the foundation of a relationship, without trust there is nothing to build on.You and your partner should always be able to trust each other and not have to worry about lies. Lies could lead to conflict and a paranoid significant other, I say this from personal experience. But this is not only important in romantic relationships, your friends and family should always be able to trust you. Lying to your family, especially parents, can end really badly because not only do they have a lot of authority, but most of us still live with them. If you have been through some tough times or a fight, it matters how you handle the situation afterwords. One can chose to behave as a child would, by not speaking, ignoring, or having an attitude with that person. Actually, the mature thing to do would be to confront that person and go over the situation and really listen to that person, and consider their point of view and how that situation should have ended. If the conflict has escalated to far, then it is time to forgive. If you find yourself in the wrong, then go to that person and really tell them that you are truly sorry, and consider their feelings, and how if neither one of you ever handle the situation, that it will only lead to more problems down the
