”We packed up the house for weeks. I was ready to move. If we stayed in New York, it was almost certain I’d have to do an extra year of high school to finish. Pulse I kept running into my old friends, who were getting into bigger and bigger trouble. I needed to see some new faces, a fresh start. My younger sisters, on the other hand, loved living in New York, had none of my problems. And didn’t want to leave. “Why move?” They argued. “Were happy here”. They called a family meeting. Mommy sat down to talk it out, listened to tier reasoning, pursed her lips, and nodded her head. “If you feel that way”. She said, we’ll stay. The questions are starting by reading this chapter for example, why they were going to Delaware? The reason is that; she was not able to pay the rent. Ruth and her family packed a house for a week because they were planning to go to Delaware. If they stay in New York, James will have to spend an extra year in high school to graduate, and James also need to break away from his previous friends. He hopes things will be different in Delaware. If he start a going school in Delaware, he had to find friends for him, that’s why he used the sentence I “needed to see some new faces”. Fresh start, the meaning of fresh start is someone who decided to go to school after a long time, or starting school in new places. If I proportion that in my self, it is not easy to find friend in new place. In Ruth’s family Everybody wanted to stay in the New York accept the James brother, His sisters argued about why going to Delaware, Ruth after a lasting to her daughters in family meeting, she declare breezily to stay at new York. Breezily mean does not care about what she is doing, Jams used that sentence when he was describing her mother on that moment. “It was as she had pulled out a grenade” this expression is used if someone is more disappointed about something. . Movement was always her modus operandi she was always in the move and did not set. It was hard for a single fifty-four-year-old mother to rise five kids. James is wondering about her mother, she had never been on her own in terms of moving, checking out neighborhoods, buying house and driving. James point out on her mother that she marriages twice the first one was when she was fourteen and the second one was sixteen and had a job to, but she was still learning how to take care and run the family. “she also was drained emotionally and felt tremendous guilt about mobbing us out of New York”.
