On page two in the article, “Why a Four-Day School Week Means Higher Math Scores” by Lucy Schouten it states, “Budgets cuts in Colorado prompted 14 schools to switch to four, longer school days.” Massachusetts has now changed the school schedule and they are now paying more for longer school days. Switching to a four day school schedule will have some benefits, but it could also have some reasons why schools do not want to have a four-day school week. There are many benefits of switching to a four-day school schedule.
