During this year I learned who my real friends are. I had to cut a lot of people out of my life. It was hard but worth it. I did nothing wrong and they would blame me for things. You want people in your life who push you to do your best everyday and I had some friends who would just tear me down. I have tried and tried to give my friends the chance to come back. They always say they’ll change but they never do. It’s like George and Lennie’s friendship. Lennie has messed up alot of things for George. In Of Mice and Men. George did the right thing to euthanize Lennie. Lennie kept getting out of control, more violent towards everyone. It was in George's best interest that he takes care of killing Lennie. George had said to Lennie that he could tend rabbits on the farm. If Lennie keeps making mistakes he knows that he won’t be able to do that. Lennies actions keep getting more violent. Slim, George, and Lennie were all talking but the Curley rushed in asking Slim if he had seen his wife and he hadn’t. Curley got mad that no one has seen his wife. Curley acts like he owns the whole place. Lennie started laughing and curley had had enough he wanted to fight Lennie. George watched “Curley’s fist swinging when Lennie reached for his fist. The next time Curley was flopping like a fish on a line, and Curley's fist was lost in Lennie's big hand (Steinbeck,63). Curley has never like being disrespected no one likes it but he goes around trying to fight everyone that does something he doesn’t like. Lennie was laughing at what Slim at told Curley that he’s not in charge of his wife. Curley didn’t like his respond so he wanted to fight someone. Curley’s hand was completely crushed. When Lennie starts fight he doesn’t stop. He doesn’t know how powerful he actually is. One day George was talking to Lennie and Curley's wife walked in.
