When it comes to a description versus a picture, any situation is better understood when the picture of the episode is displayed. The picture taken by David Becker at the shooting during Jason Aldean's concert in Las Vegas depicts the high tensions, fear, and chaos of the situation at hand. The manor of the people in the picture and debris that litters the ground suggests that the event was horrific and unexpected. After looking at the main characters of this image, the background aspect and setting of the image becomes obvious. One of the most obvious aspect of the background is that there is a vibrantly lit stage set up in the background that assures us that a concert was taking place at the time of the catastrophe. The contrast of the people running compared to the vibrant, happy stage, allows the audience to realize that a disaster can occur at any time and teamwork is vital to getting out of the situation safely. Also, it is noticeable that it is taking place outside due to the grass and trees in the image. While looking at the trees, viewers can tell that they are palm trees, meaning that this picture was taken in an area with tropical weather. Also in the background, the audience can see lights and buildings that let them know that the event is in or near a large city. The littered ground containing anything from bottles and cans to hats gives the sense that the evacuation was urgent and unorganized. The fact that people left valuables such as hats and beer solidifies the argument that the evacuation is necessary with little time to plan it.
