Women are the downfall of men. Manipulation is a prime example which takes place in everyday life, also an act of continuing or influencing, especially for one’s own advantage.
Shakespeare and Bronte lets the reader know how women manipulate men.
Lady Macbeth is the main manipulator. She feeds her husband Macbeth devious deeds to become over power in Scotland. “Lady Macbeth portrayal begins with her ambitious and successful plotting Duncan’s demise” (Thomas 82). Motivating the dark side of Macbeth to become evil and dreadful. Questioning Macbeth’s manhood and saying he’s not a man of his word.
