Kobe Bean Bryant, 1x MVP (Most Valuable Player), 15x All-NBA Team, and 18x NBA All-Star. Although one of best basketball players of all time, Kobe is ranked number one in the worst possible stat any NBA player can get, with having the most missed shots in their entire NBA career. With fourteen thousand four hundred eighty-one missed shots in his whole basketball career, all Kobe ever said about it was, “ I was just being most aggressive player I could be…”. With these words, Kobe motivated millions of young basketball players worldwide to be confident in their shot-making abilities. Which all though is a good lesson to be learned, these words can also be taken advantage of by kids unknowingly. One of those over-confident young players was me. The game began and within a matter of seconds, they were already up fifteen to seven against us. My team’s trepidation had gotten the best of them and a result of this was careless passing and shooting. I was appalled by this, I had never witnessed my teammates in such fear and angst. At this point, I was infuriated, I felt as if I were the only person really challenging these elites.
