Knowledge constitutes a theme of debates for a long time because it’s one of the most important things in our lives. There are different kinds of knowledge, and also different methods to relate the knowledge to the soul or mind. Aristotle constitutes a great contributor of the study of the essence, or nature of knowledge, soul and mind, and likewise in their relationship. In De Anima, Aristotle discusses about the knowledge of the soul. The knowledge about the soul contributes to the truth in general aspects, and likewise, contributes to understanding the essence and properties of the alive organisms. De Anime by Aristotle, constitutes an important tool to understand the knowledge of the soul, the characteristics of the soul, and the way that we acquire knowledge.
Aristotle describes in De Anime about the knowledge of the soul. According to Aristotle (2000), there are different kinds of knowledge, which could be separated by its importance. In this context the knowledge about the soul, should be in the first category because this has a huge contribution to the truth in general aspects, and likewise, contributes to understanding the essence and properties of the alive organisms. Understanding the nature and essence of soul is a hard task, and requires the use of different kinds of methods to achieve that. A choose the appropriate method should be based on characteristics of the soul. It is remarkable that there is not a single or common method, for investigating something as delicate as the soul. Because of that, is important discuss about its characteristics, and the ways that the soul acquires knowledge.

In all this context Aristotle is considered a great contributor with his theory of “Tabula Rasa”, where here claim that the knowledge is something that we learn and acquire during the life.
