On 24th June in early midsummer, Sweden had witnessed a deadly murder of lady of upper class named Julie. According to police, the murderer was none other than her own lover named Jean. The murderer had happened in the house in the kitchen of count’s country estate who is Julie’s father and well know person in the society. It happened in the early morning of midsummer. According to the murderer Jean, the reason behind making Julie kill herself was to get rid of the unwanted relationship with her and get rid from the shame of the society. He added that he was mentally tortured Julie and when she couldn’t handle it more, he gave him his razor to kill herself.

He told Miss Julie to leave the town alone for which she had agreed. But his cruel mind changed again when he saw Julie with money and wealthy stuffs with her. He once again told her that he would come with her. He mentally tortured her by killing her bird feeling less due to Jean not allowing the bird with him. This had hurt Julie a lot as she was very much connected to it. She shouted and cursed herself and Jean for it. Jean claimed at that moment Miss Julie had become very weak and that was the right time to get rid of her. The pain of bird and the fear of shame had broken her down. She took the razor from Jean and Miss Julie killed herself.
This showed the cruelty of a human being using someone for his good; but when he finds that the person is not more than a waste for him, he tries to get rid of him. This is what Jean did and to get rid of Miss Julie, he made her kill herself aka a suicide.

Both “Full Circle” and “The Most Dangerous Game” have many differences with how the murder is presented in the story, but both also have many similarities. In the short story “The Most Dangerous Game” the murder was done for fun and sport, General Zaroff killed his victims to fulfill a hunting sensation. But in the short story “Full Circle”, the murder was done out of jealousy, because the Terry was rejected. Throughout my paper I hope to show the similarities and differences of the murder cases within the two stories.
Everything is criticized at every level in this story, the people by the main character, the main character by the author and even the story by the author as well. The cruel egoistic personality of Anders is definitely identifiable through these different levels of criticism. I will prove that the inner motivation of this behaviour derives from Anders' egoistic personality which sometimes makes him cruel against others, sometimes against himself. Furthermore, I will prove that whenever Anders criticizes somebody or something he actually tries to punish because of the imperfectness of the object. In order to make the referring to the different part of the story easier I divide it into three parts. The first part ends when the robbers appear at the door of the bank, the second ends when one of the robbers shoots at Anders and the left is the third part.
People one can never really tell how person is feeling or what their situation is behind closed doors or behind the façade of the life they lead. Two masterly crafted literary works present readers with characters that have two similar but very different stories that end in the same result. In Herman Melville’s story “Bartleby the Scrivener” readers are presented with Bartleby, an interesting and minimally deep character. In comparison to Gail Godwin’s work, “A Sorrowful Woman” we are presented with a nameless woman with a similar physiological state as Bartleby whom expresses her feelings of dissatisfaction of her life. Here, a deeper examination of these characters their situations and their ultimate fate will be pursued and delved into for a deeper understanding of the choice death for these characters.
Tragically, the butchered upper-torso of Winter’s once-robust body was stumbled upon by his father, who had noticed the absence of his son since Sunday, March 11 (Smith 2002, 25-26). Unsurprisingly, an investigation occurred to obtain the identity and whereabouts of the murderer. In the beginning of the movie, we see a young girl in the back seat of a car with a blue candy wrapper in her hand. Soon after the start of the movie, the main character, Julie, gets into a car accident with her husband and her daughter. Her husband, Patrice, a famous composer and her daughter, Anna, both die in the crash. After the accident, Julie tries to commit suicide by swallowing pills, while still in the hospital. She stays in bed after the accident, which enables her from attending her daughter and husband’s funeral.
The struggle the other characters face in telling Mrs. Mallard of the news of her husband's death is an important demonstration of their initial perception of her strength. Through careful use of diction, Mrs. Mallard is portrayed as dependent. In mentioning her "heart trouble" (12) Chopin suggests that Mrs. Mallard is fragile. Consequently, Josephine's character supports this misconception as she speaks of the accident in broken sentences, and Richards provides little in the way of benefiting the situation. In using excess caution in approaching the elderly woman, Mrs. Mallard is given little opportunity to exhibit her strength. Clearly the caution taken towards Mrs. Mallard is significant in that it shows the reader the perception others have of her. The initial description the author provides readers with creates a picture that Mrs. Mallard is on the brink of death.

It is Miss Julie's fall from her high social status and her consequent fall to a childish ego state that makes Jean adapt his ego. She starts out thinking she is better than Jean because he is her servant. As they get closer she feels he is her equal so she talks to him as an adult from an adult standpoint. By the end when she has fallen from grace she feels so low that she is talking up to Jean and wants him to tell her what to do. All the while Jean is on the opposite side of the wheel that Miss Julie is on.
...re are ingrained class barriers, that when crossed, have dire consequences. This theme is developed throughout the play and is clearly shown through Jean and Julie’s actions. Julie and Jean are in their distinct social classes, which they attempt to stay in. However, through Julie’s relationship with Jean, she jumps down social classes and breaks the class barrier. Because of this jump, Julie is mentally unable to cope with the ridicule and torment that she must face. She states that “I’m [Julie] worthless. But help me! If you see any way out at all, help me, Jean, please!” This make it clear that Julie is desperately looking for something to make up for crossing the class barrier, showing that she can not handle the physical and mental consequences of her actions. Such inability to cope eventually leads Julie to commit suicide—the final consequence for her actions.
In conclusion, it was no surprise when Mrs. Mallard is shocked when her husband is standing at their front door. He had missed his train; therefore, sparing his life. When she is making her symbolic descent down the stairs, she spots her husband and realizes that she can never reverse her progress. The “joy” that kills her is the joy that she refuses to surrender, but for one hour she gets glimpse of what true joy is (Jamil 219).
With each analysis the reader gets a greater understanding of suicide and the mental state of those who commit it, as well as some of their motives. One could read only a single chapter of this book and gain a greater understanding than they previously had on the topic of suicide, but when one brings all the chapters together as a whole a much deeper understanding is obtained. Lester’s analyses start with diaries, using that of a girl he has called Katie as his first example. In this 14 page chapter he analyses her diary, not only comparing her to Ophelia from William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, but using that comparison to show some of her motives and to make sense of them. It is this astute analysis that sets the tone for the rest of the similar chapters, in a way that is not boring but is not lighthearted in the slightest. The way that the whole book works together to give one insight on the topic of suicide makes it a useful resource for those who wish to understand it in a more in-depth way.
At the end, Mrs. Mallard was in sudden shock about her husband not being dead killing her with joy. The ironic part about the story was that she was relieved to be free from the thought husband deaf. And later knowing about his falsify death an hour of meditating gave her a heart attack of “joy” freeing her still of her marriage from over thinking about no longer seeing her
Mallard supposed to be with her husband by his side and giving him advice she was not. This also lead to the news that they gave her husband had died and she was happy , she felt free. She was not really conscious it was between her world and the actual real world she had to face. This leads to her feelings sometimes she wouldn 't love her husband , and sometimes she would and it was all mixed up into different feelings and emotions. When she saw her husband in the door she cried , but it was of happiness not sadness and it was a rare death. We as readers consider that seeing her husband shocked her and anguish when she sees her husband.
