John Wayne Gacy, also known as the Killer Clown, is an infamous serial killer in American history. He was able to fool those around him into believing that he was a good, community loving man, when in fact, he had 25 decomposing bodies in his crawlspace. This man was the epitome of the worst kind of criminal to ever exist, a person who tortures and kills others with no sign of remorse and then later taunts the victim’s family and society. At the beginning of his life, Gacy did have problems with his paternal side of his family; however, as he continued through life, he had more clashes with law enforcement because of his personality and behaviors. However, his efforts to impress the doctors failed. While he was at the hospital, the doctors performed various examinations and interviews which began with his abusive childhood. Throughout the mental exams, Gacy was relaxed and appeared sincere, showing no sign of depression, anxiety, or suspicion. Whenever he was asked a question, Gacy would respond answers that tended to be circular. In 1968, more interviews led researchers to believe that Gacy has an antisocial disorder, which means that Gacy is fully aware of what he is doing and refuses to admit the truth. This in turn results in Gacy then having conflicts with society and its morals. One of the tests that Gacy took in 1968 was a Sentence Completion Test, which is intended to shine a light on the patient’s inner thoughts. Years later, Eve Gowdey would evaluate the test and state that she could see Gacy as a monster, a person who she would never trust or expect any improvement from, just by looking at the results of his test. Gacy was also tested with medical tests like electroencephalograms, skull x-rays, and blood draws which revealed no disease or disability other than his obesity.
