I am writing on behalf of Joey Ochoa regarding his candidacy for graduation. Joey and I have met to discuss his goals and other plans for his future and based on our meetings, Joey has shown to be an individual who is very focused on completing his goals. At this point, he is really centered in receiving his high school diploma to allow him to seek new opportunities in life.
It is a pleasure to work with Joey due to his pleasant and positive attitude. Joey is a hardworking individual who seeks to grow not only academically, but personally as well. He has improved his time management skills by being able to handle afternoon employment shifts and being able to attend class early in the morning. Joey has remained persistent with his education
I define a hard worker as someone who is willing to struggle and work hard, despite the fact that nobody will notice. Inside this essay, I will explain not only how I match this description, but also exactly how the Kealing Magnet Program is the optimal place for me to meet my goals, and how I will contribute to the community in ways outside of academics. Although my current school, Austin Home Base, has been great, I am ready for something new, and challenging.
After reviewing the case of Cameron Todd Willingham and the suspected murder of his three children, Mr. Willingham was absolutely guilty. Peter Tkach was enrolling for classes his last semester of his third year at Willamette University. He had done well throughout his educational career, matured through personal experiences, but he soon realized that his four years of college were coming to an end soon and that he needed to determine what he would be doing for the rest of his life, or at least post graduation. Peter decided to enroll in Dr. Houser’s Theories of Career Development in hope of discovering a career path that suited his formal education. Throughout the class he was exposed to Trait-Factor Theory, Personality Theory, Developmental Theory, and Social Learning Theory. He received great career lessons from The Adventures of Johnny Bunko, which he later applied into looking for an internship and career. Peter was able to use these theories and concepts to his own life through completing the assignments and by the end of the class, he was no longer lost in search of a career path, but had a career he wanted to pursue and got an internship for the following summer.
Bob Ford revisits the golden years of Ryan Howard and the Phillies as Howard has played his last game as a part of the franchise, marking the end of a glorious era. Ryan Howard had been overlooked and taken for granted while the Phillies were dominating the N.L. East and competing in the postseason consistently year after year. The World Series in 2008 was special and after that, the Phillies slowly declined and each player moved on from that team. Eight years later, Phillies fans say goodbye to the last player from that World Series team, and officially moving on to the future. Ford compares Howard to Mike Schmidt, both great players in Phillies’ history and each had their own decline that made Phillies fans realize how really special they were to the organization. ...ed me that students who may exhibit troubling behaviors in homeroom or other social situations sometimes become model students when classroom time starts. My final question for Antonio was the stereotypical “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. Antonio thought for a second and then said, “A doctor or a lawyer.” His answer delighted me, Antonio is essentially dealing with a double life, but he still has big dreams. Even though he has to make lingual changes on a daily basis and sees his friends not taking their education seriously, Antonio has a goal, an impressive goal at that. All in all, Antonio showed me that there are students who can fight the setbacks in their life and work hard to do well in school. I do not think there exists a “hopeless case” and I feel that every student can work hard to at least perform satisfactory work with the help of teachers.

Using Allison’s strengths and interests is important to helping her become a successful student. This is the method of helping Bender, Brian and any other student become successful in school. Building on the student strengths, while allowing them to work on their weaknesses is important for all students and especially for twice-exceptional students in the classroom. When looking at the student’s weakness it is important to understand that their behavior is not a weakness, but a result of an underlying cause. Examining the cause of the behavior will help recognize the challenge areas for improvement by understanding the underlying cause for the behavior. After understanding the student’s strengths and challenges, the teachers can then fully help the student learn to the best of their abilities.
I have accomplished a lot in a short period; however, my journey is not complete until I continue my education. Essentially, this degree will help foster my growth and career success. My passion and dedication will speak for itself. My hard work and determination will prevail and I am a fit more than the next applicant because I have the passion, experience, critical thinking and analytical skills needed to complete this program through successfully arguing my capstone in front of a board or committee. My goals are definitely aligned with this program and I hope my next read is an acceptance letter from the admissions council.
I am currently majoring in Finance at Carlson School of Management, and I have decided to explore the career and future growth of a financial analyst. I chose to explore this career because some of my cousins work in this field and I’m interested in numbers and analysis. I also have an interest in following the stock market and working in a stimulating environment. What sets me apart from others is that I’m able to use time management efficiently. I’m able to study and complete major assignments while still finding plenty of time to socialize with others. Having taken StrengthsQuest last year, I learned that I strive for the future, I’m often positive, and I’m a believer in harmony. I believe in consistency, the idea that all people should
