Joan of Arc -Joan of Arc was a peasant girl living in Medieval France. She believed that God had chosen her to lead France to victory against England because she had visions, she was soon captured by Anglo Burgundian forces and tried for witchcraft and heresy and burned at the stake. Castle of the Sun - A daughter to a peasant woman was doing her chores and came along a handsome and rich man and it was love at first sight. He begged for her hand in marriage. They met up the next day and got married. The family never heard from their daughter after she left with the one she married, so they went a search for her. They came across an old lady and a giant that was her son which told them the way to the girl. Compare and contrast the two legends. Joan of Arc believed she had visions that god gave her and Castle of the sun had a daughter that fell in love and left. They both came from a family of peasants and both tried to help
