Caffeine Addiction: Informative Do you find yourself in need of a cup or two of coffee every day? Do you find yourself saying you need coffee to get through the day? I know I do! If you’re a caffeine addict like me, think about how miserable you would feel without your caffeine fix. Have you ever tried to quit and felt even worse? With out a doubt, caffeine withdrawal can make you have a few bad days. Many people suffer from caffeine addiction everyday, between side effects, brain chemical, and what it is in. Caffeine can have many side effects once you with draw from it. Such as headache, fatigue, anxiety, irritability, depressed mood, and difficulty concentrating. However, caffeine does not cause the severity of withdrawal or harmful drug-seeking behaviors as street drugs or alcohol. Generally, people’s need for caffeine is a different order of magnitude compared with an addiction to opioid drugs. A person might say, “I'm so addicted to coffee,” think to your self, do you really need this today to get through the day?
