What exactly does bad mouthing mean? Simple - it entails putting your enemies or competition down, in order to make yourself appear as the better choice - whether in friendship, or in business. It includes tactics which are below the belt, usually resulting from bad and unverified rumors, or the complete fabrication of lies. Some people go through the extent of researching on their victims, in order to avoid legal persecution.

Whatever it is, it is meant to murder the reputation of another. There is no guarantee that the "bad mouther" comes out victorious in the end, since there is always the possibility that the truth will come out eventually - and perpetrator
Instead of dislodging them from their positions, why not work with them, or partner up? You can never eliminate the completion - they 're good in testing one 's ability to stand out from the norm. Enter into joint ventures, or if that 's too extreme, just befriend the competition. If you and the other company are friends outside of business, they will be embarrassed to put you down. Of course, be careful not to spill the secrets especially if you get too drunk during a cocktail
The competition enjoys top position simply because of one thing - they are good. Badmouthing them in an attempt to steal their position may not be a good idea - especially if they 're simply better. Be gracious enough to accept that sometimes, you are not the best. Don 't claim to be someone you 're not - or still are hoping to be.

Constantly evolve, as opposed to sticking with underhanded tactics.

Tweak you product or service so that you create a name of your own, and not have to dislodge your competitor. Find a way to stand out - create your own niche. You do not have to encroach on other people 's territories.

The grass in NOT always greener on the other side.

What makes you want your competition 's place so much? Is he enjoying more profit? More popularity? More loyal friends/patrons? Sometimes, the things that you do not know may surprise you. The opposite side may have scary customers he cannot get rid of, and rather than pass them on to you, he just deals with their attitudes. You think the opposite side is better? Maybe not!
