Science means life, how the world works, and is all around us and makes up everything that exists. With science you can think of questions you have never thought of before and possibly the solutions to those questions. Furthering my education into science is very important to me especially since I am planning to major in geoscience so I can learn more about the science of the earth. Pursuing science will help me learn to ask more questions, I will be able to contribute to society with what I will learn, and science just really excites me. Asking questions is part of science especially when you are learning a new subject. You ask questions to better your knowledge on the subject you are learning. When I'm learning a new subject I'm not that good at asking questions but if i dive all in and immerse myself in a field of science I will learn to ask more questions, and figure out the answers will the help of my peer, professor, and myself. …show more content…

Even though it might not seem very important, it is because with Geology you can observe when a volcano might erupt, and where oil might be for oil drillers. Also you get to learn about how the earth was formed, why the things that happened happened, and go out into the field and look at fossils, rocks, and amazing formations. Geology also helps with where you can build building because if there is a fault there, then there will most likely be earthquakes, or can help you not get stuck when you are in a boat on a river because the cut bank wont have that much mud, but the point bar would.
